Episode 122: Los Angeles Comic Con

Los Angeles Comic Con is the expansive and fun final cap to each Southern California con year. This is the first time I’ve recorded at the event, so I spent some time talking with a handful of amazing artists, all of whom are creating wonderfully unique work. I asked each creator to share one movie that influenced them to be who they are and got some interesting answers I think you’ll enjoy!

After our previous technical delay, we finally bring you the Movies Made Me 2nd Anniversary Celebration!  Our amazing group of guests kindly re-convened and again recorded a free-wheeling look back at the 2nd year of the podcast, while sparking new friendships and sharing fun stories.

Clancy Brown – Actor in multiple influential movies, including Highlander, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai: Across The Eighth Dimension, and The Shawshank Redemption.  Voice actor, best known for his role as Mr. Krabs in Spongebob Squarepants. Brock Powell – Voice actor, best known as the voice of the Kool-Aid Man and supporting roles in Milo Murphy’s Law on Disney XD.  Podcaster on the UnPOP Podcast.  (Hear his influential films in episode 39)
