Episode 122: Los Angeles Comic Con

Los Angeles Comic Con is the expansive and fun final cap to each Southern California con year. This is the first time I’ve recorded at the event, so I spent some time talking with a handful of amazing artists, all of whom are creating wonderfully unique work. I asked each creator to share one movie that influenced them to be who they are and got some interesting answers I think you’ll enjoy!

Please be sure to visit the websites and social media for each of my guests, follow them, and buy some of their work! My thanks to all the artists and creators who took time out of their Con day to record with me! You’ll hear from:

Episode 75: Los Angeles Podcast Festival, part 4 of 4, featuring Chris Mancini, Samm Levine & Todd Glass

Welcome to the last of the four special episodes recorded in the Podcast Lab during the 6th annual Los Angeles Podcast Festival at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, CA, October 6-8, 2017.  As was the case in 2015 and 2016, I had an amazing time at the festival and am extremely grateful to Graham Elwood, Chris Mancini, Dave Anthony and the whole LA PodFest crew, for all the time and effort they put into creating this annual highlight of the podcasting year.  I’ll continue to hold out hope for a 2018 festival, so I can again enjoy a weekend of collaboration to bring you these fun special episodes.

I spent the weekend recording  in the Podcast Lab with fellow podcasters and special guests.  I asked new friends to tell me about one film that influenced them to be who they are, and had old friends sit down to catch-up with me.  In this episode, you’ll hear from:

Welcome to the third of four special episodes recorded in the Podcast Lab during the 6th annual Los Angeles Podcast Festival at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, CA, October 6-8, 2017.  The Podcast Lab is a noisy, frenetic environment, which you’ll undoubtedly hear in these recordings, because it is a place of creativity and collaboration between podcasters and fans.  Attending LA PodFest is the absolute highlight of the year for me and I hope the energy and excitement of the weekend is conveyed in what you’ll hear in this episode.
